Driving Directions Go West on Hwy 154 out of Gilmer - Turn right on FM 852 (just outside the city limits) - About 14 miles you will come to a cross road (on the left should be an empty lot next to a log home) - Turn left - The cemetery is about 1/4 miles on the left. Antioch Baptist Church is within view on the right. |

Euell & Mattie HALLENQUEST BELL were the parents of Phyllis K BELL, wife of John W ANDERSON, son of Doris Cross & Arthur C Anderson. Euell was the son of Robert E Bell & Amanda Lee Bell. Mattie was the daughter of Burley C & Maggie A POOLE HALLENQUIST, both buried at Perryville.

Notes on Jesse T. Branon. Mr. Branon came to Texas before the Civil War with his wife. When he died one of his former slaves asked to come to his funeral. A chair was put at the back door for him to sit in.
Many area baptisms were performed at Mr Branon's pond
